Sources expose perpetrators behind sniper attack on 10-year-old girl in Dhalea

DHALEA, July 29 (YPA) –  Informed media sources exposed on Tuesday the party responsible for the sniping operation of 10-year-old Hanan Saleh Abdullah Al-Sharji, in Qa’tabah district of Yemen’s Al-Dhalea province.

Media outlets affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) reported that the 10-year-old girl, Hanan, was shot in the head by a sniper affiliated with Saudi-backed Salafi militant forces stationed at Othman Hill in the Al-Fakher area. She immediately lost consciousness after being struck.

The same sources said that the Salafi elements were attempting to pin the attack on forces affiliated with the STC.

Meanwhile, Hanan was transferred to Al-Thawra Hospital in the city of Ibb to receive urgent medical treatment due to the critical nature of her condition.
