QUDS, June 20 (YPA) – Dozens of Zionist settlers carried out on Wednesday a series of attacks targeting towns and villages in the central and northern West Bank, according to local reports.
In Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, a municipal council member said armed settlers entered the area from the east and moved toward Palestinian farmland, where they grazed livestock among olive groves and near residential homes. No clashes were reported.
In nearby Sinjil, local sources said a group of armed settlers attacked the western part of the town, prompting residents to confront them. No injuries were recorded.
Further north, settlers were also reported to have attacked villages south of Nablus, including Jalud and Burin. In Jalud, stones were thrown at a family home, while in Burin, residents said settlers stormed the village entrance and fired live rounds during the confrontation.
The West Bank has seen a continued rise in such incidents, with repeated reports of attacks on Palestinian communities and property.
According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, April alone saw 1,637 incidents involving Israeli forces and settlers, including 540 attributed to settlers.
