Lebanese resistance repels Israeli attempt to advance towards Tayri

BEIRUT, June 07 (YPA) – Lebanon’s resistance said its fighters engaged an Israeli occupation force that attempted to advance from the Shuqif al-Naml area toward the outskirts of the town of Tayri in southern Lebanon.

According to the resistance, the light and medium weapons were used during the confrontation, while artillery fire was also directed at the advancing force during the clashes.

The resistance added that the occupation forces’ unit was forced to withdraw from the outskirts of Tayri toward the town of Hadatha, describing the advance as unsuccessful.
