Palestine Information Center reports 62 martyrs in West Bank, Quds since beginning of 2026

RAMALLAH, May 13 (YPA) – The Palestine Information Center (Ma’ta) revealed on Wednesday that 62 Palestinian citizens have been killed in the West Bank and Quds (Jerusalem) in occupied Palestine at the hands of the Israeli enemy and Zionist settlers since the beginning of the current year, 2026.

In its statistical statement, the Center clarified the distribution of the martyrs by governorate as follows: 2 in Jericho, 15 in Hebron, 8 in Jerusalem, 2 in Bethlehem, 2 in Jenin, 13 in Ramallah, 1 in Salfit, 1 in Tubas, 3 in Qalqilya, and 15 martyrs in Nablus.

The report indicated that the month of March recorded the highest toll of martyrs since the beginning of the year, with 30 martyrs, compared to 6 in January, 8 in February, 13 in April, and 5 martyrs from the beginning of May until today.

The Israeli enemy forces have been escalating their attacks against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with the crime of genocide and the war of starvation that they have been committing in the Gaza Strip for more than two years.
