SANAA, May 13 (YPA) – The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Sanaa government, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, sent an official message on Wednesday to the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, outlining Sanaa’s firm stance regarding the latest developments and repercussions of the “US-Israeli aggression.”
In his message, Abu Ras reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s strong condemnation of the aggression against Iran, describing it as a “blatant violation” of sovereignty and independence, and affirming that this escalation defies all international norms, charters, and laws.
The Deputy Foreign Minister warned of the grave dangers of this aggression, noting that it threatens not only Iran but also undermines regional and international security. He cautioned that such actions could drag the world into a “total war,” which would have dire negative impacts on the global economy, supply chains, and energy prices.
He emphasized the necessity for Islamic nations to act against what he termed the “Zionist plot,” asserting that the aggression targets the entire nation.
Furthermore, Abu Ras expressed Sanaa’s welcome of diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the aggression against Iran and countries in the region, praising the steadfastness of the Iranian people and reaffirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with the Islamic Republic in the face of this “joint US-Israeli arrogance.”
