BEIRUT, May 11 (YPA) – Six people, including a Syrian national and a Bangladeshi citizen, were killed and several others injured on Monday in a series of Israeli occupation’s airstrikes targeting multiple towns in southern Lebanon, amid continued violations of the temporary ceasefire agreement.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the occupation’s warplanes struck the Ain al-Jamal area in the town of Zabdin near the Ksar Zaatar neighborhood in Nabatieh, hitting and destroying a residential house. The attack killed three people, including a Syrian and a Bangladeshi national.
The agency added that the warplanes also carried out strikes on the town of Arnoun and on the Hashim building located on the road between Nimiriya and Sharqiya.
In addition, a Israeli drone strike targeted the Nuns neighborhood in Nabatieh city, causing several injuries.
Another drone strike in Zabddin reportedly killed municipal worker Yahya Ali Qubaisi and Hussein Ahmed Qubaisi while they were distributing bread to residents using a municipal rapid-response vehicle. According to the report, the drone fired two guided missiles directly at the vehicle, killing both men instantly.
In a separate incident, an Israeli strike targeting a car in Haris reportedly killed Mohammed Darwish and injured his brother Yahya, both from the town of Akkariya.
Israeli warplanes also conducted three additional air raids on the towns of Qlayleh and Zouqayn in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
