International flotilla aiming to break blockade approaches Gaza

GAZA, April 29 (YPA) – The Global Sumud Flotilla, headed toward the Gaza Strip, has departed from ports in Turkey, Spain, and Italy, consisting of more than 100 vessels and around 1,000 participants.

According to organizers, the Flotilla is currently near Crete and is expected to reach Gaza by the end of the week. The convoy includes participants from dozens of countries and is presented as a humanitarian mission.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation’s Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced sanctions targeting fundraising efforts linked to the campaign, identified as “Global Sumud Flotilla – Mission II.”

Katz alleged that Hamas is directly organizing the flotilla in coordination with international organizations under the cover of humanitarian assistance, an accusation not independently verified.
