Massive sit-in in Romania commemorates Palestinian Land Day

BUCHAREST, March. 31 (YPA) – The Romanian capital, Bucharest, witnessed a massive sit-in to commemorate Palestinian Land Day, organized by the Romania-Palestine Solidarity Association.

Romanian solidarity activists and members of the Palestinian community expressed their support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, and their rejection of what they described as war crimes and genocide being committed by the occupation army in the Palestinian territories.

Participants condemned settler attacks on Palestinian cities and villages and criticized the silence of Western countries regarding these events.

Their chants supported the freedom of Palestine and rejected the complicity of some Western governments through their political and military support for the occupation.

In addition, the organizers called on participants to continue highlighting the suffering of the Palestinian people and to never cease conveying the truth to global public opinion.
