Gaza death toll rises to 72,285 as Israeli strikes continue to escalate

GAZA, March 31 (YPA) – The death toll from Israeli occupation’s attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,285, with 172,028 people injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that hospitals received five additional fatalities and 14 injuries over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that since the ceasefire on October 11, 709 people have been killed by Israeli occupation fire, 1,928 have been injured, and 756 bodies have been recovered.

“Many victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and Civil Defense teams are still unable to reach them,” it added.
