Pakistan condemns Israeli attacks, affirms its solidarity with Iran

ISLAMABAD, March. 28 (YPA) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his country’s condemnation of the Israeli attacks on Iran, emphasizing Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Iranian people.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister office reported that Sharif held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which they reviewed regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.

He explained that Pakistan is working to communicate with the United States, the Gulf States, and Islamic countries to create a suitable environment for launching peace talks.

He also pointed out that Pakistani initiative enjoys significant international support, and he expressed hope for reaching a practical path that leads to a collective cessation of hostilities.

Sharif offered his condolences for the more than 1,900 victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured and a return to stability for those affected.

For his part, the Iranian President praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, outlining his country’s position on the ongoing developments and the attacks it is facing.
