Riyadh barred southern leaders from travel despite foreign citizenship

RIYADH, March 25 (YPA) – Political sources have revealed that Saudi authorities have imposed strict movement restrictions on Yemeni southern leaders within its territory.

Specifically, Riyadh denied travel requests for Saleh Al-Haj and Abdul Nasser Al-Jaari to London, despite both holding British citizenship.

These measures are part of a broader crackdown initiated in early January, which has seen dozens of political and military figures placed under de facto house arrest after being summoned for “Southern Dialogue” talks.

This move has raised significant legal questions regarding the restriction of individuals holding international passports, particularly following recent military escalations in the southern regions.
