Yemeni army launches offensive on Saudi sites in Asir

ASIR, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday carried out an offensive against several positions of Saudi army in Alib front in Aisr region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Several Saudi troops were killed, some wounded and some others captured during the offensive, according to the official.

The attack resulted in retaking of several sites and seizing a Bradley vehicle and a bulldozer, he added.

On the same front, the army repelled an infiltration attempt by the Saudi forces, destroying two vehicles and a 14 caliber-gun and seizing military gear.
