Al-Fareh: Gulf States “have no say” in regional decisions

SANAA, March 03 (YPA)- Member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Fareh, has outlined reasons that pushed Iran to strikes the US Marine and Israeli Mossad installations across several Gulf countries, offering a political reading of Tehran’s position in the region.

In a post on X, Al-Fareh said that Iranian calculations went beyond mediation with neighboring states.

“Iran could have used them as a gateway for negotiations and to gain sympathy, but Gulf States have no real weight in decision-making – they are mere façades,” he said.

Al-Fareh added that these states “have no say and are not consulted nor independent; they simply echo what is imposed on them and follow the noise, because their decisions are fully tied to US and Israeli will. From their territories, aggressions, espionage, and conspiracies are launched.”

He stressed that “most Gulf States have never shown any sympathy toward Iran, actively participating in media and political campaigns against it, aligning clearly with Washington.”

Al-Fareh also pointed out that “Gulf territories have been transformed into US military bases, while their hotels serve as security coordination centers, intelligence hubs, and spying outposts targeting Iran.”

He concluded by questioning the possibility of any positive role for Gulf States in the current conflict: “How can they be expected to act as a bridge or mediator, and where is the sympathy they claim to have?”
