British court overturns “Palestine Action” designation as terrorist organization

LONDON, Feb. 13 (YPA) – The High Court in London ruled that the ban on Palestine Action Movement was unlawful.

The High Court ruled that the government’s decision to designate the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action as a terrorist organization was unlawful, and Justice Victoria Sharp ruled that the ban significantly harmed freedom of expression and assembly.

It should be noted that the movement was banned last July after it took action against Israeli-linked defense companies in the UK.
