SAADA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – A Yemeni civilian was killed on Sunday by Saudi army fire in the border district of Sheda, Saada Governorate, according to local sources.
The border regions of Saada have faced near-daily attacks since March 2015, targeting civilians, travelers, and workers. Local authorities describe these incidents as a “systematic policy” aimed at spreading terror among residents.
These ongoing attacks are considered a blatant violation of the UN-brokered peace understandings between Sanaa and Riyadh, occurring amid a notable international silence regarding the repeated escalations.
