Hezbollah denies Syrian interior ministry claims

BEIRUT, Feb. 01 (YPA) – Hezbollah’s Media Relations issued a statement on Sunday denying accusations made by the Syrian Ministry of Interior.

The statement rejected claims linking Hezbollah to recent attacks, stressing that the party has no activities, associations, or presence on Syrian territory.

It affirmed its commitment to Syria’s unity and the safety of its people.

Earlier, the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a cell allegedly involved in attacks on the Mezzeh area and its military airport, claiming that the seized rockets and launchers originated from Hezbollah.
