Gaza hospitals receive 26 dead, 68 wounded in fresh Israeli strikes

GAZA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that 26 Palestinians were killed and 68 others wounded in fresh Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, the toll has reached 523 martyrs and 1,443 wounded, with the bodies of 715 martyrs recovered.

“Many victims remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and Civil Defense teams are unable to reach them,” the statement added.

The ministry confirmed that the growing toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,795 martyrs and 171,551 injured.
