Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi refutes Saudi narrative, reveals secrets of what is happening in southern Yemen
SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The leader of the Ansarallah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din al-Houthi, stated on Thursday that regional actors targeting Yemen—led by Saudi Arabia—are operating under U.S. supervision to serve American interests.
In a speech commemorating the anniversary of the late Martyr President Saleh al-Sammad, al-Houthi addressed Saudi movements in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces. He asserted that Riyadh is concerned neither with Yemen’s unity nor its secession, but rather aims for “total control, occupation, and dominance over the Yemeni people.”
Al-Houthi highlighted the competition between regional tools in Mahra and Hadramout provinces, noting that Saudi Arabia treats these areas as its exclusive sphere of influence. He further noted that political decisions and positions held by local factions are fully directed by Saudi Arabia under American oversight.
The leader of the Ansarallah concluded by accusing Saudi Arabia of exploiting various religious and secular slogans for mobilization and recruitment, while simultaneously seeking to seize control of Yemen’s political decision-making and unexploited natural resources in the eastern provinces.
