U.S. embassy lays off 360 local staff in Yemen

SANAA, Feb. 12 (YPA) – The United States has laid off 360 local staff in Yemen three years after closing its embassy in the capital Sanaa.

Ambassador Matthew Tueller, who is currently residing in Riyadh, said in a statement dated Feb. 6 that his embassy will keep on only security guards to watch the embassy.
