QUDS, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The Hebrew newspaper “Maariv” revealed on Monday a dangerous plan for the Israeli occupation aimed at reproducing the experience of “Somaliland” in the southern Yemeni provinces.
The newspaper reported in its issue issued on Monday that the occupation is currently considering recognizing the so-called Southern Transitional Council supported by the UAE in southern Yemen, a step that clearly revealed the nature of the role played by the tools of aggression and occupation in pushing the Zionist agenda forward.
Maariv explained that this Zionist orientation stems from the desire to establish “strategic cooperation” along the Red Sea coast to counter the military operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, which imposed a naval blockade on the occupation during the last two years of the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The report pointed out that by legitimizing what it described as “Emirati tools”, the occupation seeks to secure a direct military and intelligence foothold on the coasts of Yemen overlooking the strategic Bab al-Mandab corridor.
For its part, the Hebrew “Channel 12” conveyed the warnings of Mr. Abdul Malik al-Houthi, who put an end to Zionist ambitions in the Horn of Africa.
The channel pointed to what Mr. Al-Houthi touched upon regarding Yemen’s non-acceptance of violating the sovereignty of brotherly Somalia, and that any Zionist military or intelligence presence on Somali territory will be considered a “legitimate military target” for the Yemeni Armed Forces, considering that the Zionist presence poses a direct security threat to Yemen and the entire Horn of Africa region.
