Yemeni astronomer issues warning to farmers regarding frost

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Yemeni astronomer Adnan Al-Shawafi issued, on Monday, a warning to farmers regarding the possibility of frost returning.

Al-Shawafi wrote on his Telegram channel: “Farmers, don’t over-irrigate, frost is coming back.”

Last Saturday, Al-Shawafi had predicted a relative improvement in minimum temperatures compared to the previous period, continuing until the end of the year.

He emphasized that the weather would remain wintry and cold in the highlands and mountain basins, ruling out the possibility of frost during this period.

He also urged everyone to follow weather forecasts and prepare for any potential fluctuations.

Thus, the weather in Yemen remains a mix of relative improvement and noticeable cold, making daily monitoring of weather updates essential, especially in the highlands.
