European student protests organized to demand exclusion of Israeli occupation from Horizon program

SANAA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – The Global Student Network for Palestine (GSNP), a movement advocating for the academic boycott of the Israeli occupation, announced protests, on Friday, at 21 universities across Europe.

These protests aim to pressure for Israel’s exclusion from the European Horizon academic program.

In a statement, the network explained that students and faculty members from 21 universities in 19 European countries will participate in peaceful, coordinated demonstrations in front of the European Commission offices.

These demonstrations aim to achieve a comprehensive academic boycott of the occupation and its exclusion from EU-sponsored Horizon research and innovation programs.

The organizers are demanding an immediate academic boycott of Israeli institutions involved in practices that violate international law and basic human rights standards.
