SANAA, Dec. 06 (YPA)- The National Center for Meteorology warned on Saturday a decrease in the minimum temperatures in the mountainous provinces, which range from “0 to 4” degrees Celsius.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold to very cold wave would hit the provinces of Saada, Omran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dhalea heights, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, west Jawf and south of Marib.
It pointed out that the weather would be cold also in the heights of Hadramout, Shabwa, Taiz, Rayma, Mahweet and Hajjah.
The center affirmed out that the weather of the coastal areas is partly cloudy on the southern and eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago, with the possibility of light rains and light to moderate winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the western coasts and the entrance of Bab El-Mandeb.
The weather bulletin warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, the patients, and workers in the mountainous highlands of the cold and very cold weather, during the night and early morning hours.
