Meteorology predicts heavy rain in various governorates

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecasts moderate to heavy rainfall across large parts of the Republic of Yemen.

Weather maps indicate that the rainy conditions will cover a wide geographical area, encompassing the coasts, mountainous highlands, and inland regions.

Key areas included in the forecast:

Coastal and maritime areas: the Socotra archipelago, territorial waters in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, in addition to the coasts and parts of the governorates of Al Mahrah, Hadramout, Shabwah, Abyan, Lahj, Aden, and Al Hodeidah.

Highlands and inland areas: Taiz, Ibb, Dalea, Al Bayda, Dhamar, Raymah, Sana’a, Amran, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, in addition to parts of Sa’ada, Al Jawf, and Ma’rib.
