Filipino crew of ‘Eternity C’ ship departs Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 03 (YPA) – Ten Filipino crew members of the ship ‘Eternity C’ departed Sanaa International Airport this Wednesday afternoon.

The crew was rescued by the Yemeni Navy last July following the sinking of their vessel, which had attempted to break the Yemeni blockade on ports of the Zionist enemy in support of Gaza against the Israeli aggression.

The departing crew received commemorative gifts for themselves and their families at the conclusion of five months spent as guests in Yemen, not detainees.

The crew expressed their thanks to the Yemeni Navy and the authorities in Yemen for the care they received and for maintaining communication with their families throughout their stay.

An Omani plane had transported dozens of stranded individuals, patients, and wounded people back to Yemen.
