Sanaa threatens to undermine Riyadh’s economic ambitions over “maritime security partnership”

SANAA, Dec. 03 (YPA) – The Sanaa government has threatened that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s projects and economic ambitions will be put at risk, following its hosting of the meeting for the “Steering Committee for Maritime Security Partnership in Yemen.”

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sanaa government, Abdul wahed Abu Ras, affirmed that the Saudi regime insists on turning Riyadh into a “capital from which hostile activities against Yemen are launched,” instead of lifting the blockade and ending” the occupation of Yemeni lands and islands.”

In a statement to the official “Saba” news agency, Abu Ras clarified that Riyadh’s continuation of these “hostile steps” and its alignment with American and British agendas “will drown it further and further in the quagmire of collaboration and hostility,” which “will negatively affect its economic ambitions and projects, and it will lose a lot because of this.”

Abu Ras stressed that the true objective of these activities is not maritime security but rather “protecting the Zionist entity and the interests of America and Britain,” asserting that Yemen, with its army and naval forces, is the most keen on maritime security.
