OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Two Palestinian brothers, Mohammad and Walid Maghribi (aged 20 and 16), were killed and their father injured in a shooting attack that took place in the city of Ramla, inside the occupied territories, late Friday night.
The victims and their father were transferred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital after receiving initial medical treatment, but the brothers were later pronounced dead after efforts to save their lives failed.
The incident comes amid a serious and unprecedented rise in violence and murders within the Arab community in “Israel,” which has left 222 people dead since the beginning of the year, amid what many describe as Israeli police negligence and complicity in failing to combat crime and ensure safety for Arab citizens.
Statistics showed that 187 victims were shot, 109 were under the age of 30, including five minors under 18 and 20 women. Police officers were responsible for 12 of the killings.
These alarming figures highlight the worsening wave of violence and crime in Arab society, amid persistent accusations of Israeli police inaction and failure to hold perpetrators accountable.
