WEST BANK, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across various areas of the West Bank at dawn on Saturday, during which they stormed several homes and detained a number of citizens.
In the town of Kober, north of Ramallah, Palestinian sources reported that occupation forces raided the town and arrested a man and his son, before deliberately releasing them hours later in a nearby town.
In Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, the occupation forces stormed the center of the town, raided several homes — including the home of Mayor Amjad Atatra — and issued threats to the residents, warning them that their houses would be destroyed.
The occupation forces also forced several homeowners to evacuate their houses and turned them into military posts.
Additionally, the occupation forces raided commercial shops and confiscated security camera recordings.
In the town of Sanur, south of Jenin, the occupation forces detained a woman for about an hour during the raid, in an attempt to pressure her son to turn himself in.
In Dura, south of Hebron, Israeli occupation forces raided the home of a Palestinian citizen and severely beat him after tying his hands and blindfolding him. They also vandalized the home’s contents before withdrawing.
