Gaza Health: New bodies and victims recovered within 24 hours, doubling death toll from Israeli genocide to 68,531

GAZA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, on Tuesday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide in the Strip has risen to 68,531 martyrs and 170,402 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry revealed that the number of identified bodies received from the Zionist enemy has risen to 75.

It stated that hospitals in the Strip received four martyrs during the past 24 hours, including one new martyr and two martyrs who were recovered, in addition to seven wounded by enemy fire.

The ministry said: “Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the total number of martyrs by enemy army fire has reached 94, the total number of wounded has reached 344, and the total number of martyrs who have been recovered has reached 474 bodies.”

It also indicated that 75 bodies have been identified so far out of the 195 bodies of the martyrs released and received by the Israeli enemy.

“Many victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them ,” the ministry added.
