SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Gold prices in Yemen witnessed a notable and significant decline on Tuesday in the markets of Sanaa and Aden, following a period of accumulated record increases that began early last September.

Details of the Decline:
- In Sanaa areas: The price of the Gold Sovereign recorded a daily decrease of 30,000 YER, and the price of the 21-karat gram fell by approximately 1,000 YER. This retreat follows a cumulative increase that exceeded 50,000 YER for the Sovereign since the beginning of October.
- In Aden areas: The price of the Gold Sovereign dropped by 50,000 YER over the past 24 hours, reaching 1,480,000 YER. This decrease follows a record surge in prices there that exceeded 200,000 YER for the Sovereign during October.
