“MSF”: “Israel” continues to restrict aid to Gaza, using it as “leverage tool” despite ceasefire

GAZA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on Sunday accused the Israeli occupying authorities of continuing to restrict the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, despite a ceasefire agreement being in effect for over two weeks.

The organization’s coordinator in the Strip, Caroline Wilman, stated that “Israel” is using the aid as a “political pressure tool” against Palestinians.

Wilman noted that the humanitarian situation has not improved, with Israeli restrictions depriving hundreds of thousands of civilians of food, treatment, and shelter.

According to MSF, since the start of the ceasefire (on October 10), the occupying authorities have only allowed the entry of approximately 1,000 aid trucks, while the Strip requires 600 trucks daily to meet the escalating humanitarian needs.
