Gaza death toll mounts 67,234 in continued Israeli genocidal war on Palestinians

GAZA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – At least 67,234 Palestinians have been killed in the genocidal war the Israeli occupation has been launching on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

The ministry said in a statement that 5 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 4 people were injured.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble of the destroying buildings and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The statement explained that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the total number of victims has reached 88 martyrs, with 315 wounded, and the bodies of 436 martyrs have been recovered.
