STC publishes photos of bodies of perpetrators of suicide attack in Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Media outlets loyal to the UAE-backed “Southern Transitional Council” (STC) circulated photos on Tuesday evening, which they claimed were of the dead bodies of the terrorist elements who carried out a double suicide attack on the “First Support and Reinforcement Brigade” in the Al-Mahfad area of Yemen’s Abyan province.

The attack was carried out using two car bombs targeting the government complex used by the STC’s factions as their headquarters.

Semi-official statistics indicate that 4 recruits from the factions were killed and 14 others were injured, in addition to the killing of approximately 6 of the attackers.

This attack comes within the context of continuous operations launched by terrorist elements against the STC’s factions since mid-2022.
