Zakat Authority launches “Ehsan” projects at value of 27 billion riyals.

SANAA, Sep. 02 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based General Authority of Zakat launched ” Ehsan” projects in the capital Sanaa on Tuesday, describing them as major.

The projects, which were launched on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, were estimated at a total value of 27 billion riyals.

These projects included 21 multi-purpose projects targeting various segments of Yemeni society eligible for the authority in the capital and a number of provinces.

The projects were launched at an official ceremony attended by a number of officials, including Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Miftah and Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan.
