French lawyers sue Macron’s government for collusion with “Israel”

PARIS, July 29 (YPA) – French lawyers have filed a lawsuit before the International Criminal Court (ICC) against their government and 19 members of parliament, accusing them of complicity in genocide and crimes against humanity committed by Israeli occupation authorities in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

According to a report published on the website of the Union of French Jews for Peace, the Association of Lawyers for Justice in the Middle East (AJPO), which includes more than 100 French lawyers, took this legal step, accusing French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister François Bayrou, Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, and 19 parliamentarians of direct or indirect complicity in the alleged crimes.

In its complaint, the association asserted that there is reasonable evidence indicating that “Israel” is facilitating and encouraging the commission of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It called for an investigation into Israeli officials before the ICC to verify the veracity of these allegations and hold them accountable in accordance with international legal standards.
