SANAA, July 28 (YPA) – Thunderstorms of varying intensity will be fallen on vast parts of the provinces of Yemen, the National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning predicted on Monday.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast, the scattered rains may fall on the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Bayda, western Jawf, the highlands of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra and Lahj.
It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain falling on parts of the eastern coasts.
The center noted that the winds might be very strong in the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and on the eastern and southern coasts.
It warned citizens in mountainous areas where rainfall expected to be caution, to avoid thunderstorms and also to avoid crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
