ADEN, July 24 (YPA) – A member of the presidency of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) confirmed that the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition is no longer able to manage even the minimum level of service delivery in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces.
Fadl al-Ja’adi, a member of the STC presidency, said, “In light of the economic collapse and financial and administrative chaos, the legitimate government is no longer able to manage even the minimum level of the hot issues facing the country.”
In a post on X on Thursday, al-Ja’adi added that the worsening service situation, particularly the electricity crisis and the collapse of the currency, continues without any real economic reforms from the government.
He pointed out that the failure of services and livelihoods is the ongoing hallmark of the pro-coalition governments, which have failed to rescue and improve the lives of the people.
It is worth noting that the STC is a key partner in the pro-coalition government and controls a number of ministries, resources, and financial revenues in Aden and the rest of the southern regions.
