4 soldiers killed, 8 injured in traffic accident in Lahj

LAHJ, July 22 (YPA) – A horrific traffic accident resulted in the death and injury of 12 soldiers in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled Lahj province in southern Yemen on Tuesday, local sources reported.

The sources indicated that the accident occurred when a military vehicle belonging to the so-called “Tur Al-Baha Axis” militia overturned, resulting in the death of four soldiers and the injury of eight others, some of whom were in critical condition.

The injured were transferred to a hospital in the neighboring city of Taiz, also under the coalition’s control, while the circumstances of the accident remain unknown, according to the sources.
