Satellite images show Israeli crimes in razing Khan Yunis to ground

GAZA, July 22 (YPA) – Satellite images revealed on Tuesday the extent of the destruction the Israeli occupation forces have caused in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The images showed the al-Maslakh area and its surroundings in the Bani Suhaila roundabout in Khan Yunis, following the widespread destruction by the occupation, forcing hundreds of displaced families to flee once again under the weight of the bombardment.

The pictures also clarified the extensive devastation of the Khuza’a area, which was completely reduced to rubble, highlighting the extent of the tragedy suffered by the residents and infrastructure in those areas.

Much of this destruction was caused by systematic demolitions, targeting buildings that had been damaged previously, as well as others that appeared largely intact.

Documented footage also showed massive bombing operations that created thick clouds of dust and debris, while the occupation forces have continuing its systematic bombings targeting a number of residential towers, schools, and other infrastructure.

Several fact-finding legal experts said the occupation has committed war crimes under the Geneva Convention, which restricts the destruction of infrastructure by an occupying power.
