In video: Woman’s terrifying screams in Aden shake Yemen street

ADEN, June 28 (YPA) – A woman from the coalition-controlled city of Aden burst into tears in a video clip in which she spoke about the catastrophic living and service conditions, while the Presidential Leadership Council and coalition-backed Aden government present at Maashiq Palace ignored.

In the video, which was circulated by activists on social media on Friday, showed the woman, whose name was not mentioned, accusing the UAE of implementing a systematic starvation policy and waging a war on services against the people of Aden.

She reported that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s leaders were suppressing anyone criticizing the catastrophic situation by fabricating various charges of terrorism and throwing them into prisons and detention centers, or subjecting them to the most horrific forms of torture.

Women in Aden called for avoiding childbirth during this harsh period so that their children suffering from the stifling heat caused by the power outages and the hunger that threatens everyone without exception.

They revealed the deaths of many heart and kidney failure patients, in addition to the rotting bodies of the dead in hospital refrigerators due to the lack of electricity in the city.

The women stated that food and meat in the markets have become spoiled and expired, warning citizens of the dangers of consuming them without ensuring their safety.

The parties, backed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, have been witnessing internal conflicts, with pro-UAE leaders demanding the removal of the Chairman of the Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, and the uprooting of Islah loyalists from all coalition-run institutions.
