US reveals details of military attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites

WASHINGTON, June 22 (YPA) – The US military command has revealed details of its airstrike against Iranian nuclear facilities.

The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, GeneralDan Caine, announced at a news conference on Sunday that the attacks, led by US Central Command, targeted three Iranian nuclear sites, using 125 military aircraft and a range of bunker-busting missiles.

“Multiple deception methods were used against Iran during the move to carry out the strikes,” he added, emphasizing that any Iranian response would be a bad option for Tehran, at a time when US forces in the region remain on high alert.

In the same context, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth described the attack as “exceptionally successful”, claiming that it “did not target Iranian forces or the Iranian people, but rather targeted only the nuclear infrastructure, adding, Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been eliminated.
