GAZA, June 15 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance factions continue to confront the Israeli occupation forces that have penetrated the Gaza Strip, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, as part of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, which has been ongoing for the 616th consecutive day.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced in a brief statement, on Sunday, that its fighters managed to snipe an Israeli soldier who was driving a military bulldozer on Al-Muntar Street, east of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The Brigades noted that the operation was carried out after careful monitoring of the occupation’s movements in the area.
Al-Qassam announced yesterday evening the shelling of a settlement adjacent to the Strip with short-range missiles, in addition to carrying out a well-planned ambush targeting occupation forces and vehicles in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Yunis.
The resistance factions affirm that their operations come in response to the occupation’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people and their holy sites, renewing their pledge to continue fighting until the aggression ends.
