NYU students’ hunger strike in support of Gaza enters its fourteenth day

SANAA, June 11 (YPA) – The hunger strike launched by students from various universities in New York, USA, in protest against the Zionist aggression and in support of the starving Palestinians in Gaza, has entered its fourteenth day.

Students from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, and Baruch College, an educational institution in New York, continue their open-ended hunger strike, which they began to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to protest the Zionist-American war machine that continues to starve Palestinians in Gaza to death and rain bombs on them.

The students carried banners reading “Hunger Strike for Gaza,” “Free Palestine,” “Genocide Cannot Be Covered Up,” and “930,000 Children Left to Die by Hunger,” urging their universities to sever ties with the occupation.

It is noteworthy that the students began their hunger strike on May 27.
