Al-Mashat warns Arab, Islamic nations against collusion with Israeli occupation

SANAA, June 05 (YPA) -President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, delivered a speech on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, in which he extended congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution, to the Yemeni people, Armed Forces, Security, and those steadfast on the fronts on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

In his address, Al-Mashat also conveyed greetings to the Palestinian people, resistance fighters in Gaza and Lebanon, the broader Islamic Ummah, and pilgrims performing Hajj.

Al-Mashat emphasised that Eid al-Adha calls for adherence to Islamic teachings, including maintaining family ties, supporting the poor, and upholding the continuous remembrance and glorification of Allah.

He noted that this year’s Eid comes while the people of Gaza endure immense suffering, saying: “How can our hearts rejoice while our souls are gripped with pain for them?”

At a time when we raise the chants of Takbir (praise to Allah) and the voices of pilgrims echo with Labbaik (Here I am, O Allah), Gaza resounds with the cries of the groans of its bereaved, and prayers to God to grant them patience. Eid is not merely a ritual—it is a message and a stance. The sacrifice taught by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) compels us to stand by the oppressed.”

He stressed that the cries of children under rubble in Gaza and tears of mothers mourning their sons are a call for all of us to stand for justice, undeterred by the arrogance

Regarding the occupied provinces, Al-Mashat expressed concern over the worsening humanitarian and living conditions in the areas under foreign occupation, highlighting the stark contrast with the lifestyle of what he described as “mercenary factions living in hotels abroad, showing no concern for the suffering, hardship, or basic needs of the people —including the lack of water in Taiz and electricity in Aden.”

He asserted that “these deliberate and harsh policies are part of a broader scheme by the occupation aimed at breaking the will of the people and humiliating them.”

On the issue of internal connectivity, Al-Mashat welcomed the recent reopening of the Sanaa–Dhalea–Aden road and stressed the need to open all routes between provinces in a way that serves the people and fulfills national interests.

He also called on Yemeni elites to promote the signing of the Tribal Honour Charter and to renounce all those who collaborate with foreign powers. He urged national unity and awareness to thwart conspiracies and divisive agendas.

Regarding Gaza and the regional situation, Al-Mashat reaffirmed Yemen’s religious and principled stance in support of the Palestinian people and the residents of Gaza

“Yemen will continue its operations until the aggression ends and the blockade on Gaza is lifted. The air and sea embargo against the Zionist entity and its vessels remains in place.”

He warned Arab and Islamic nations of the dangers of their weak and complicit stance with the Zionist entity, which will bring direct peril upon them.

Al-Mashat stated that the declared ambitions of the criminal Zionist entity target not only Palestine, nor just Lebanon, Iran, or Yemen—but the entire Ummah.

He cited Israeli legislation enabling settlers to seize land in the West Bank, expansion of settlements in the Jordan Valley and East Jerusalem, and the establishment of “demilitarised” zones in Syria as evidence of a broader plan.

Al-Mashat condemned the United States for supporting what he called “genocidal crimes” by the Israeli occupation in Gaza, calling it a “shameful stain” that reveals US complicity in the aggression.

He added, “The genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza would not have happened or persisted without unprecedented American political and military support.”
