OCCUPIED QUDS, May 28 (YPA) – Israeli media have expressed growing concerns about a potential response from Yemen following Israeli airstrikes targeting Sanaa International Airport.
This military action has been interpreted by the Israeli occupation government as an attempt to pressure Sanaa over its support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
The Hebrew channel Kan noted that “the Ansarallah group is likely to continue targeting Israel with missiles and drones, despite the airstrikes on Sanaa Airport.” It emphasized the difficulty of countering such actions since the group lacks conventional military infrastructure that could be easily targeted for deterrence.
This highlights the strategic challenge facing the Israeli entity in addressing threats from Yemen, as Sanaa’s forces rely on unconventional tactics without fixed bases, complicating the effectiveness of aerial strikes in achieving their intended objectives.
