Belgium: The blockade is disgrace, and starving the population of Gaza is war crime

SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – Belgian Foreign Minister, Maxime Prevo said, “I don’t know what other atrocities need to happen in Gaza before we can talk about genocide.”

He added, “Condemning the situation in Gaza is no longer enough. We need concrete actions to push Israel toward change.”

He said, “The pictures from Gaza are outrageous, the humanitarian blockade is a disgrace, and the deliberate starvation of the population is a war crime.”

“A series of measures have been put before the government, including imposing sanctions on Israel,” he confirmed.

Maxime Prevo also pointed out that “the blockade must be broken so that children in Gaza do not starve to death.”
