SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast dry to warm weather in the desert and coastal areas on Wednesday.
In its weather bulletin, the center noted that maximum temperatures would range between 37 and 43 degrees Celsius, with moderate to brisk winds causing dust and sandstorms.
It also warned citizens in areas experiencing rainfall against staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
According to the center, the weather in coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy, with light rain falling on the Socotra Archipelago and the southern coasts.
It added that winds may be light to moderate in speed over the Socotra Archipelago, ranging between 15 and 25 knots, with gusts of up to 33 knots, causing high waves.
The center also predicted scattered rain in parts of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Dhamar, and Rayma.
