Sanaa forces start imposition of naval ban on Haifa port in occupied Palestinian territories
SANAA, May 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni armed forces in the Sanaa government announced on Monday evening the imposition of a naval blockade on the port of Haifa in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement issued this evening, Sanaa forces stated that this comes in response to the escalation of the brutal Israeli occupation aggression and its daily massacres against the people of Gaza that have left hundreds of victims in unprecedented crimes of genocide, as well as in response to the continued siege and starvation.
The statement called on all companies that have ships present in the port of Haifa or heading to it, stating that the aforementioned port has become, since the hour of announcing this statement, part of the target bank, and they must take into consideration what is stated in this statement and what will be stated later.
The statement noted that this decision came after the armed forces successfully imposed a blockade on the Umm al-Rashrash port, halting its operations. It emphasized that the armed forces would not hesitate to take any additional measures in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their courageous resistance.
The Yemeni armed forces affirmed that all measures and decisions related to the Israeli enemy, whether support operations or the ban on air and sea navigation, would be suspended once the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.
