ALQUDS, May 14 (YPA) – Four female soldiers from the “Caracal” unit of the Israeli occupation forces were injured on Tuesday when an armored vehicle they were traveling in overturned during a patrol mission near the border with Egypt.
The Israeli official broadcaster “Kan 11” affirmed that the accident occurred on Highway 10, adjacent to the Egyptian border, and military authorities began investigating.
For its part, the “Israeli Channel 7” quoted military sources as saying that the armored vehicle overturned as a result of driving at a speed inappropriate for the road conditions.
An spokesperson of Israeli occupation forces said in a brief statement that the vehicle overturned last night in the Egyptian border area during an operational patrol, injuring four female soldiers, who were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
