Photojournalist killed in suicide drone attack on Gaza hospital

GAZA, May 13 (YPA) – Palestinian photojournalist Hassan Aslih, was martyred after being targeted by an Israeli occupation’s suicide drone inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Hassan Aslih, who was being treated for injuries from a previous occupation strike on a tent for reporters, was targeted in what witnesses described as a drone attack on the hospital’s surgical wing.

This crime was described as a “flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws.”

Palestine’s Liberal Movement called the martyr, describing it as “the clever journalist who accompanied the truth, exposed the crimes of the occupation and pursued corruption everywhere,” stressing that his assassination represented a heinous crime that defies all international and humanity laws.

The movement added in its statement that “the Nazi Zionist occupation assassinated the journalist Aslih while he was inside Nasser Hospital receiving treatment, after suffering critical burns and injuries in a previous bombing.

The statement called on the international community, the institutions concerned with human rights, freedom of the press, media bodies and journalists in the world, with a “clear and immediate condemnation of this crime”, considering that targeting the hospital using a suicide plane a very dangerous development and a new decline in criminal occupation behavior.
